Over 10,000 Candidates Applied for This Delhi Teaching Post — DSSSB’s Result Is Finally Out
DSSSB's PGT History Tier-I provisional result (Post Code 831/24) is declared, covering Directorate of Education and NDMC vacancies.
Over 10,000 candidates competed for a single teaching post this year, and the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has now declared the result. The Tier-I provisional nomination list for Post Graduate Teacher (History), Male and Female — Post Code 831/24 — covers vacancies across the Directorate of Education (DoE), GNCTD, and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).
The post was advertised under Advertisement No. 01/2025, and shortlisting is based on a single-tier online written exam that tested candidates on general awareness, teaching aptitude, and subject-specific History knowledge.
DSSSB has uploaded the provisional nomination list as an official PDF on dsssb.delhi.gov.in, broken down by category — UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST and PwBD — and candidates are urged to look up their own roll number in that document directly. A personal scorecard can also be checked by logging into the OARS portal at dsssbonline.nic.in using an Application Number and date of birth.
DSSSB has been clear that this is a provisional list only, built from Tier-I marks and preference order — inclusion on it does not guarantee an appointment.
Candidates who make the list must next complete e-dossier submission: uploading postgraduate certificates, B.Ed. qualification proof, and category or identity documents through OARS within the notified window, followed by verification from the relevant User Department.
DSSSB has warned that any discrepancy discovered between a candidate’s uploaded documents and their original application can lead to cancellation of candidature, and that the board reserves the right to rectify the result at any stage.
