850 VDO Posts, One Final Result: RSSB’s Rajasthan Recruitment Concludes

A long-running Rajasthan recruitment drive has reached its final stage. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) declared the VDO Final Result 2026 on 24 June 2026, closing out the selection process for 850 Village Development Officer posts.

RSSB has released the outcome as a final merit list, listing the roll numbers and names of candidates provisionally selected, alongside category-wise cut-off marks. The approximate vacancy split across categories runs roughly 300 General, 200 OBC, 170 SC, 120 ST and 60 EWS posts, totalling 850 — RSSB notes these are approximate figures pending the official notification’s exact breakdown.

Candidates can check their status by visiting rssb.rajasthan.gov.in, navigating to the Results or Recruitment section, and opening the VDO Final Result PDF, then searching for their roll number using Ctrl+F.

Indicative cut-off marks shared alongside the result (out of 300) place General category around 210-225, OBC around 195-210, SC around 180-195, ST around 170-185, EWS around 195-210, PwD around 150-165, and Ex-servicemen around 160-175 — RSSB describes these as expected ranges based on past trends rather than confirmed final numbers.

The selection process combined a written exam on General Knowledge, Rajasthan GK, Reasoning, Maths and Hindi with merit-based shortlisting. Candidates named in the final list now proceed to document verification, where they must produce their admit card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, graduation certificate, category certificate, domicile certificate and a valid photo ID.

RSSB, headquartered in Jaipur and also known as RSMSSB, runs recruitment for Group B and Group C posts across Rajasthan’s state services. The VDO post itself carries responsibility for rolling out government schemes at the village level, and routinely attracts a very large applicant pool.
