65 Senior Banking Posts, Five Domains: Inside Bank of Baroda’s 2026 Professionals Drive
Bank of Baroda's 2026 recruitment for 65 VP and DVP posts spanned Credit, Treasury, Risk, IT and HR, with applications closing 6 July 2026.
Bank of Baroda (BoB) opened a large lateral-hire recruitment drive this year, seeking 65 professionals at the Vice President (VP) and Deputy Vice President (DVP) levels across Credit, Treasury, Risk Management, IT & Digital Banking, and Human Resources.
The 65 posts broke down as 10 VP and 12 DVP roles in Credit, 5 VP and 7 DVP in Treasury, 6 VP and 8 DVP in Risk Management, 4 VP and 6 DVP in IT & Digital, and 3 VP and 4 DVP in HR — the largest share going to Credit-related roles.
The application window ran from 16 June 2026 to 6 July 2026, online only through bankofbaroda.bank.in. Depending on the domain, candidates needed a CA, MBA (Finance) or CFA background with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, or an MBA/CA/FRM qualification for Risk, a B.E./B.Tech/MCA for IT, and an MBA-HR for Human Resources roles.
Age limits stood at 28-40 years for VP posts and 25-38 years for DVP posts, with the standard relaxation — 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC non-creamy layer, and 10 years for PwBD candidates. The fee was ₹600 plus taxes for General/OBC/EWS applicants and ₹100 plus taxes for SC/ST/PwBD applicants.
BoB’s selection process spanned an online test/shortlisting stage, a group discussion where applicable, a personal interview with a senior bank panel, document verification, and a pre-employment medical examination.
Pay followed the Bipartite Settlement scale: DVP-level (MMGS-IV) positions carried an indicative ₹76,010-89,890 monthly, while VP-level (SMGS-V) roles ran ₹89,890-1,05,280 monthly, on top of DA, HRA, CCA, medical aid, LFC, provident fund, gratuity and pension.
