Football gamers, here’s why September 25 might be circled on your calendar

Football video game fans have a new date to watch. A report from Dealabs claims EA Sports FC 27 – the next chapter in EA’s long-running football series – is scheduled to launch worldwide on September 25, 2026, in line with how the franchise has released nearly every year for over a decade.

The report comes from Dealabs leaker billbil-kun and lays out more than just a date. It suggests players who purchase the Ultimate Edition, plus EA Play subscribers who qualify, may be able to start playing early on September 17, 2026. Dealabs was careful to note this early access date isn’t fully confirmed, and could instead follow the shorter seven-day early access pattern used for EA Sports FC 26.

The leak also points to where the game will land. EA Sports FC 27 is reportedly coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC – meaning players on older consoles wouldn’t be left out this year either.

For anyone budgeting ahead, the report says the US standard edition price is expected to stay flat at $69.99 regardless of platform. In Europe, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 versions would cost €69.99, while PlayStation and Xbox versions would be priced at €79.99.

Physical copies haven’t disappeared either, according to the leak – disc editions are expected for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox One, keeping the option open for players who still prefer a boxed game over a digital download.

EA itself has stayed quiet, and none of the release date, platform list, pricing or early access details in the report are officially confirmed. If the September window holds, an official reveal from EA is expected within the coming weeks.
