Telangana CM asks Emirates to extend MRO operations to Warangal, Adilabad airports

Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy has asked Emirates to extend its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations to two new airports coming up in the state, at Warangal and Adilabad. The request came as Mohammed Sarhan, vice president (India) of Emirates, paid a courtesy call on the chief minister on Saturday.

The meeting marked the completion of 25 years of Emirates’ operations in Hyderabad. During the visit, Sarhan informed the chief minister of the airline’s willingness to launch Airbus A380 services in the city.

Revanth Reddy welcomed Emirates’ operations in the state and requested an increase in the airline’s overall flight services to Hyderabad, in addition to the MRO expansion at the new airports.

The chief minister assured Emirates that the state government is ready to provide all necessary facilities for its flight operations, as Telangana looks to expand its aviation infrastructure beyond Hyderabad.
